Belmond brings the party to you with the launch of Belmond Invitations – virtual programs designed to provide entertaining experiences for the armchair traveler. Streamed on Belmond IGTV, the series kicks off on Friday, March 27 at 1 p.m. with a performance by famed British pianist Joe Stilgoe. His program will channel the music of the Jazz Age in tribute to Belmond’s Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, which was set to host a Roaring 20s themed ride this weekend.

The Belmond Invitations performances are curated using Belmond's wellbeing philosophy of Good Living. Earlier this year, Belmond partnered with a number of ambassadors who specialize in niche cultural activities, from poetry to floral design, to provide guests with an intimate look at a destination through one-of-a-kind activations. Now, Belmond has brought that same philosophy of enriching the mind, body and soul to its online platforms. Future live programming, which will be announced at a later date on @belmond, will include poetry and music inspired by travel, calming meditation practices, nourishing nutrition and uplifting floral inspiration. The IGTV content will then live on Belmond’s IGTV feed for users to re-watch.

In addition to the live programs, Belmond has introduced Digital Care Packages across its social media platforms. These posts will encourage guests to channel the calming feeling and experience of being on vacation. Examples of virtual offerings will be guided meditation by wellness experts Nadia Narain and Katia Narain-Phillips – gurus to Kate Moss and Reese Witherspoon; recipes for making at-home spa therapies; sensational classical music playlists created by broadcaster and musician Clemency Burton-Hill; and photographs of nature tied to poetry.
