Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London's most stylish address has announced an exclusive partnership with By Rotation, the world's first social fashion rental app, offering guests a one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience London's fashion scene through a more bespoke and sustainable lens.
The collaboration celebrates craftsmanship, community, and conscious luxury - values shared by both brands - through the launch of the Mandarin Oriental Mayfair x By Rotation Festive Rental Edit: a curated selection of designer pieces available exclusively for hotel guests to rent throughout the festive season, embodying the spirit of luxury with a purpose.
Located just moments from the hotel, guests can book a personal styling appointment at By Rotation's flagship store, where a bespoke wardrobe is prepared in advance, based on the occasion and preferences they submit before their stay.
Alternatively, guests can enjoy in-suite styling, with pieces delivered directly to their room, suite or residence, ready to wear for an evening out in London. Once guests have finished with their outfits, items can simply be returned to the hotel concierge for an effortless return.
Guests will be able to rent entire outfits or individual pieces, including dresses, tailored items, bags, shoes and accessories, from coveted brands such as Cult Gaia, Magda Butrym, Chanel and Jacquemus, starting from just £20 per day. The look book also showcases the best of British design, redefining modern style with names including 16Arlington, Saloni and The Vampire's Wife.
To mark the launch, Mandarin Oriental Mayfair and By Rotation will unveil a creative campaign and festive celebration in November, followed by a bookable 'Dressed in Mayfair'package available throughout the year.
The experience includes an overnight stay at Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, a signature cocktail at the hotel's rooftop Hanover Bar, and a By Rotation styling appointment - either in store or in-suite – with the hotel team reaching out in advance to understand each guest's occasion, requirements and styling preferences, ensuring a seamless and personalised experience.
Looking ahead, the partnership will evolve with the seasons, unveiling themed Rental Edits reflecting key occasions such as Valentine's Day and London's summer social season, seamlessly blending the worlds of high fashion, sustainability, and modern hospitality.
