Membership Engagement Manager (M/F)


The Hoxton & Working From_ is making its way to Brussels!

In February/March 2023, we’ll be opening our first hotel and co-working space in the city of Brussels and we’re looking for an experienced Membership Engagement Manager to play a crucial part in successfully bringing our concepts to the market.

The hotel boasts 198 bedrooms of different sizes, a large restaurant and coffee shop, a rooftop restaurant and bar with views across the city and The Apartment (our unique meetings & events concept).

Working From_ brings our unique approach to co-working to Brussels. Our 3rd global location features double height windows, a mixture of memberships and office spaces, open kitchen pantries and transparent policies.
What you’ll do…
  • Handling any member enquiries or concerns relating to membership, ensuring response within agreed timeframes.
  • Delivering heartfelt service throughout your day-to-day responsibilities and to play a big part in delivering a culture of service excellence at Working From.
  • Ensuring members are inducted in person/receive the induction deck to ensure they are comfortable in the space and are correctly set up on WiFi and Workplace upon moving in.
  • Manage offboarding process with all departments.
  • Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with members and partners, with a focus on becoming their ally.
  • Ensuring relevant HODs and team members are kept updated with member feedback and ensure continual improvements based on their feedback.
  • Assisting the Membership Engagement Coordinator to ensure accurate and secure records and correct processing of all membership enquiries, including new set up, detail changes, refunds, renewals, cancellations, freeze requests etc.
  • Assisting the Membership Engagement Coordinator to complete monthly reconciliation, carrying this out in their absence.
  • To deliver service recovery where necessary and to positively influence retention levels by proactively engaging with members and monitoring usage levels.
  • Help to establish a culture of communication and curiosity between members, whilst encouraging engagement on available platforms.
  • Work with members to establish partnerships with their company/brand to showcase them in the space.
  • Collaborate with external companies (with a focus on those within the local area) to implement partnerships within Working From to celebrate our local neighbourhood, as well as engaging members with new perks and benefits etc.
  • Come up with ideas and help with the planning and execution of any events happening in the space.
What we’re looking for…
  • You would come from a customer focused role preferably from within the hospitality sector.
  • You’re a natural communicator and feel comfortable holding multiple conversations at once and effectively managing numerous communication platforms
  • You have good local knowledge and contacts to assist members in and around the local area.
  • Nothing is an issue for you – you love to get stuck in across the board
  • You are detailed and articulate and know just how to keep everything (and one) in order
  • You’re looking for a place where you can be you; no clones in suits here
  • Passionate about creating memorable experiences for others, be they guests or colleagues
