SEASONAL CONTRACT OF 9 MONTHS STARTING NOVEMBER 2019
Successful candidat will work alongside the management team to manage daily kitchen activities, aiding with menu preparation, ensuring food quality/freshness and monitoring purchasing/stocking. You will keep cook stations stocked and manage on-the-fly requests with ease and poise, especially before and during prime operation hours.
Assist the Chef in all kitchen activities and some management tasks.
Responsible for the quality and the variety of all food being served on the shift.
Enhance the overall knowledge and team spirit of the kitchen staff.
Carry out the sanitation needs of the kitchen, utilizing the standards set up by the Executive Chef.
Have 5 years experience in a five stars hotel.
Have a good knowledge and passion for food.
Ability to communicate in English and French with hotel guests, suppliers, and employees to their understanding. Additional foreign language skills a plus.
Ability to memorize orders.
Ability to handle the stress inherent in interacting with co-employees and resolving guests’ problems.
Ability work under pressure, be organized, self-motivated and work well with others.
Ability to complete work in a timely, accurate and thorough manner.
Have an experience in Asia and/or Caribbean.
Have a MS Office experience.
