Sense at Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo welcomes guests chefs during (Japan)

Sense, the fine-dining restaurant serving stylishly presented Cantonese cuisine at the award-winning Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo in Nihonbashi, launches Cantonese Delights, a three-part guest chef series showcasing the superb traditional Cantonese cuisine for which the Hong Kong-based Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is widely known.

Over three periods in April, June and September, master chefs from Cantonese restaurants at Mandarin Oriental hotels in Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong will present, together with Sense Chef de Cuisine Kenichi Takase, their signature dishes in multi-course lunch and dinner menus served against the dramatic backdrop of Senses’s sweeping city views.

The Cantonese Delights fair commences by welcoming to Chef Kong Khai Meng and Tea Master Thummarat Jindapol from China House located within Mandarin Oriental’s historic hotel The Oriental, Bangkok, for a six-day engagement from 22 to 27 April. Course prices for lunch (JP¥7,000) and dinner (JP¥17,000) are inclusive of sales tax and subject to a 10% service charge.

During the six-day period of 16 to 21 June, Chef de Cuisine Jun Choi Bong of Lai Po Heen restaurant at Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur will introduce classic Cantonese dishes and dim sum specialities.

The Cantonese Delights fair concludes with a September visit by Chef de Cuisine Joseph Tse from Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong’s acclaimed restaurant Man Wah.
Reservations can be placed by ringing toll free 0120-806-823 daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sense is open every day for lunch from 11.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. and for dinner from 5.30 to 10.00 p.m. (last orders).
