The Rezidor Hotel Group announces an extension of the Radisson SAS Hotel Manchester Airport: 150 additional rooms are scheduled to open in Q1 2010 – bringing the total number of rooms to 510. “Rezidor is committed to grow in depths and widths of its core markets, and effective asset management of high-performing hotels is a quintessential part of our strategy”, comments Kurt Ritter, President & CEO of Rezidor. “This development also strengthens our position as one of the leading airport hotel operators in Europe”, Ritter adds.

The Radisson SAS Hotel Manchester Airport is directly linked to all terminals, the rail and coach station by an elevated Skylink walk. Manchester Airport is the main airport serving the northwest of the UK – and with the approval of a second runway, it is even expected to become the second busiest airport of the country. Besides 360 rooms and suites, the property currently features the award-winning Phileas Fogg Restaurant, the Runway Brasserie, a bar, meeting and leisure facilities.
