Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort and Spa, has been named the “Best for Families, World” and “Best for Families, South Pacific” at the 2009 Trip Advisor Travelers’ Choice Awards. The awards recognise hotels for exceptional accommodation, service and value. The Resort is among 443 hotels worldwide honoured this year. Unlike other hotel awards programmes, Trip Advisor Travellers’ Choice winners are based on real and unbiased reviews and opinions about hotels posted on the Trip Advisor website.
Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort and Spa is well known for being a family friendly Resort and it has previously been honoured for its services for families.
“We are very proud to receive this award and this accolade is recognition of the dedication and hard work of our staff,” said David Hopcroft, the Resort’s General Manager.
The Trip Advisor website is the largest travel community in the world with nine million members and 20 million reviews and opinions. The website attracts some 32 million visitors each month.
