Ocean Waters Opens Veranda Lounge at the Plaza Resort & Spa

Take panoramic views of the World's Most Famous Beach, mix in signature martinis and a select menu of tempting treats, and you have the recipe for the new Veranda Lounge at the Plaza Resort & Spa.
The Veranda, just off the lobby of the famous condominium resort hotel at 600 North Atlantic Avenue, is the latest addition to the Plaza Resort & Spa's $70 million resort renovation. The new lounge is open to the public and fast becoming one of Daytona's destination nightspots.
The Veranda offers a full bar with select wines and specialty drinks. Martini-lovers will enjoy the signature Blue Martini as well as choosing from among a dozen specialty martinis, including the Classic Martini, Appletini, Flirtini, Razztini, Bikini Martini, Melon Martini and the Chocolate Martini.
Hungry? The lounge offers a sumptuous menu of delicious fare, from Colossal Shrimp Cocktail, to Prime NY Strip Steak Sandwich, to Asian Chicken Lollipops.
"The opening of the Veranda signals the four-star quality, service, and special amenities that we have brought to the new Plaza Resort & Spa," said General Manager Chris Kehn. "Having an upscale lounge directly overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, we expect to draw visitors from many of our nearby Ocean Waters hotels."
The Veranda Lounge is open every Wednesday through Saturday from 8 p.m. to midnight. Entertainment is offered nightly.
For the past 18 months the Veranda space served as a sales center for the Plaza, which is in the final stages of selling out the 322 room condominium hotel.
