World's Leading Travel Magazine and Leading Wedding Media Company Introduce Luxury Travel Resource

Travel + Leisure, the world's leading travel magazine, and The Knot, Inc. (www.TheKnot.com; NASDAQ: KNOT), a life stage media company and premiere wedding resource, today announced a new joint venture: Travel + Romance. Debuting in April 2006, Travel + Romance magazine will showcase the best in luxury honeymoons, destination weddings, and trips for two. The publication's companion web site, www.Travel-Romance.com, also launching in April, will be the first and only site to focus on luxury romantic travel.


According to recent survey results, 88% of Travel + Leisure readers expressed interest in reading about romantic destination travel, while 76% of The Knot members plan to spend more on their honeymoon than they ever have on a single vacation.*

Developed through the powerful collaboration of Travel + Leisure and The Knot, Travel + Romance magazine will have a cover price of $3.99 and an initial distribution of 500,000 to select members from The Knot and select Travel + Leisure subscribers, as well as newsstands and bookstores nationwide. The first issue will be the Spring/Summer 2006 edition, with plans for an annual frequency. As a complement to the magazine and web site, there will also be a Travel + Romance bridal retail event, hosted by a retail partner. The event will offer marketing partners an additional opportunity to reach this key group of consumers.
