Hilton International received seven awards at this year's German Business Traveller Awards ceremony in Frankfurt on January, 17th. With the following three awards Hilton International got nominated number one hotel chain for the fifth year in a row:
Best hotel chain worldwide
Best hotel chain in Europe
Best hotel chain in the Middle East
For the first time Hilton International received the award "Best Online Presentation of a hotel chain". "We are very excited about this award", states Angela Haug, Director of Marketing Central Europe. "It approves that the decision we took two years ago was correct to launch a German website designed for the local market. This is still a novelty amongst the global operating hotel chains. We will continue our aim providing our local customers via hilton.de with dedicated and innovative business and leisure offers", continues Haug.
These awards are voted for by the German readers of Business Traveller Magazine, which means the recognition comes directly from the guests. About 3,000 readers casted their ballots for the Hilton hotels concerning service, staff friendliness, room equipment, hotel design, best price value and business standards & services.
The London Hilton On Park Lane received the award as "Best individual hotel in Europe". The 28 storey London Hilton on Park Lane is one of the landmarks of the capital and the flagship property of Hilton. Situated in the heart of Mayfair and overlooking Hyde Park, this luxury hotel is central to all London's famous attractions and sights. All 450 guest rooms boast stunning views over the city, while recent refurbishment has ensured that the 55 individually designed suites are among the finest in the country.
