At the launch of the new gastronomical guide “Trends-Tendances Top-Restaurant 2006” the Sea Grill restaurant has been rewarded in several categories including “Best Fish Restaurant” and “Best Business Restaurant”.

The Trends-Tendances Top-Restaurant 2006 guide is not a traditional gastronomical guide where you can read the best restaurant choice of the makers of the guide. This guide is the result of a survey sent to 15.356 Belgian top managers and executives to vote and rank their favourite restaurant, wine list, type of kitchen, etc. The award is given in ten categories: Best Gastronomical Restaurant, Best Young Talent, Best “Brasserie”, Most Inventive Restaurant, Best Price-Quality Relation, Best Italian Restaurant, Best Fish Restaurant, Best Foreign Kitchen Restaurant, Best Wine Restaurant, Best Business Restaurant …

The Sea Grill restaurant has been rewarded by the readers as the Best Fish Restaurant and Best Business Restaurant and stands on the fourth place in the best gastronomical restaurant. The first three places were awarded to Belgium’s very own 3-star Michelin restaurants.

The Sea Grill restaurant, featuring exquisite seafood preparations, is situated on the ground level of the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel in Brussels. Not only famous for the gastronomic creations of the Executive Chef Yves Mattagne, the restaurant is also very much appreciated for its wine cellar elaborated with savoir-faire. Marc Meremans, Director of the Sea Grill restaurant deserves all the credit for this fine wine selection that has been praised many times. Another highlight of the restaurant is the well-supplied lobster bar.

Yves Mattagne and Marc Meremans commented, “We are very proud to receive this recognition by the readers of Trends-Tendances. Since the beginning, 16 years ago, we have always tried to be creative in order to offer innovative choices to our guests. On the other hand, we have always strived to achieve a higher level of service to surpass all expectations... time after time! We would like to thank our loyal guests for their unconditional support, and our team for their hard work and unbeatable dedication”.
