‘Beauty by Mandarin Oriental’ Concept Will Also Feature La Bella Donna Make-up Line

On 1 September, the Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Washington D.C. debuted two new beauty suites that feature the CACI Ultra machine, known for anti-aging treatments and affiliated results-driven product lines.

“We are very excited to have this new addition to the spa,” said Spa Director Penny Kriel. Launching ‘Beauty by Mandarin Oriental’ allows us to enhance our treatment offerings and remain leaders in the DC spa market, while staying true our paraben free commitment and delighting our guests with a natural, non-invasive alternative to Botox and microdermabrasion.”

The science behind the CACI is tiny electric probes that emit pulses to the facial muscles, encouraging toning and tissue repair. These probes are placed at various points around the face to counteract ageing problem areas and enhance the skins ability to neutralize bacteria and protect itself from daily damage. When combining the non-surgical facelift equipment with products, it increases the absorption of the active ingredients into the deepest layers of the skin.

To maximize the CACI Ultra machine, the Spa has launched the new “Boost” mask by Somme Institute. Boost is a multi-tasking treatment mask that purifies and nourishes, leaving the skin smooth and refreshed. The Boost mask is infused with a specialized blend of minerals, enzymes and vitamins that bring new clarity to the skin. The warming action increases blood circulation, supports and nourishes healthy skin cells, while preparing the skin to receive the benefit of this patented technology.

CACI-related treatments are now available and begin at USD350 for a comprehensive Anti-Aging Luxury facial which includes all functions of the CACI Ultra combined with the Somme Time Reversal Facial.

The beauty suite also includes a make-up area offering the mineral make-up line, La Bella Donna. This line is 100% natural and contains a full spectrum of natural sun block that lasts from 8-12 hours as well as a refractive quality that diminished the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Ideal for special occasions, La Bella Donna make-up sessions will be offered at USD60 for a Bridal Trial session and USD90 for a Wedding/Special Occasion. The Spa at Mandarin Oriental is also the exclusive distributor of La Bella Donna products in Washington,D.C.
