Former VP of the Little Nell Hotel Group will manage a collection of Ty Warner's boutique hotels and word class golf courses in New York, Santa Barbara, Cabo San Lucas, and Kona

Ty Warner, owner of Ty Warner Hotels and Resorts, LLC (TWH&R) and Ty Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Eric Calderon as the new COO for TWH&R. Mr. Calderon will be responsible for the operations and management of Ty Warner's well-known properties including the Four Seasons New York; Las Ventanas in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; Kona Village Resort in Hawaii; and the Four Seasons Biltmore, San Ysidro Ranch, Miramar Hotel, Sandpiper Golf Club, Rancho San Marcos Golf Course and Montecito Country Club all in Santa Barbara, California.

"We are very pleased to have Eric join our team, as he brings a great deal of experience and a keen sense of what it takes to successfully operate our unique collection of properties," stated Ty Warner. "Eric has the knowledge and skill set to build an umbrella brand of superior service for TWH&R while still honoring the distinctiveness of the individual hotels, golf courses, and private clubs."

Calderon grew up on the slopes of Mount Tremblant, in Quebec, Canada, graduated from the Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne in 1971, and went on to a successful career with Four Seasons Hotels. In 1988, after managing the Lodge at Pebble Beach, he was brought in to open The Little Nell in Aspen, and has been working with the hotel since then for 18 years.

At The Little Nell, Calderon was instrumental in building the team and setting the standards that have earned the property its five star/five diamond rating and numerous accolades over the years. He also oversaw operations at the Snowmass Club, and his duties included managing several projects which are under construction, including the Residences at The Little Nell, The Little Nell at Snowmass, and the property management division at base village in Snowmass.

While he will miss life in Aspen, Calderon says he eagerly anticipates the new opportunities at TWH&R.

"It is a great privilege to be able to set up residence in Santa Barbara and be part of a team that manages some of the most desirable destinations in the world," stated Eric Calderon. "Ty Warner has proven himself to be a visionary with the investments he makes into his properties, and he has some tremendous plans in progress. I look forward to being part of the journey."
