The first part of the 15th A.S.I. Contest of the Best Sommelier of the world took place in Mendoza, Argentina on April 16th. Out of 60 canddiates from all over the world, 15 were selected to go through to the semifinals:

On Sunday 17th, they went through several written and practical tests that will decide on the best ones to go to the final.
The Best Sommelier of the World 2016 will be announced on April 19th on the stage of Teatro de la Independencia in Mendoza.
