The Chinese government established the White List in 2003 to encourage Chinese families to enrol students in listed colleges and universities. Being added to the White List means that any future graduates of BMIHMS will have a qualification which is recognized by the Ministry of Education in China.
This is very exciting for BMIHMS, its Chinese agents, students and partners in the region and is an event that has been eagerly anticipated for several years.
Laureate Australia General Manager Hospitality, Jerome Casteigt, said he was delighted with the outcome.
“Being on this list is a major success for BMIHMS as it will encourage more Chinese students to consider enrolling with us in the future. It’s also of great benefit to our Chinese students, who can now be assured that their Australian qualifications will also be recognised when they return to China,” he said.
