Mr. Monje joins the hotel from Secrets Papagayo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica where he was General Manager. The property is part of AM resorts, a leading luxury hotel company in the Caribbean.

Mr. Monje brings with him over twenty years of experience in the tourism and hospitality industry including an extensive background in finance management, and has worked in more than twelve countries across four different continents. Previous appointments include senior management roles at COMO Hotels and Resorts, Leading Small Hotels of the World and Meliá Hotels, including positions in Bangkok, Bali and Bhutan.

Born in Spain, he enjoys photography, sports and travel.
