  • 170 directors and HR decision-makers in attendance
  • • More than 2,000 interviews over a 48-hour period with hundreds of internships and new jobs up for grabs
The International Recruitment Forum (IRF), which is held twice a year by Swiss Education Group, will take place on 22nd and 23rd October 2018 at the Montreux Music & Convention Centre. During its 10 years of existence, this event, now being held for the 20th time, has developed into a key meeting place for companies in the service and hospitality industry, such as hotel groups, airlines, banks, cruise lines and luxury concierge services.

It is against this backdrop that Swiss Education Group students will have the opportunity to meet with the 170 or so directors and HR decision-makers attending the event in a supportive and prestigious environment. On the agenda are discussion panels and interactive exchanges between decision-makers and students; recruitment interviews and shared lunches, enabling each student to easily build a valuable network of contacts.

170 HR decision-makers from all around the world Established in 2009, when it attracted 30 recruiters from Swiss hotels, the International Recruitment Forum saw its appeal grow rapidly. Just three years later, in 2012, it attracted 110 decision-makers from the human resources departments of prominent companies. This year, 170 recruiters will travel from all over the world to attend the event in Montreux. These include prestigious hotel groups, such as ShangriLa, Four Seasons, Hyatt, Mariott, Ritz Paris and Le Bristol, together with airlines such as Emirates Air Line and Swiss International Air Line and even the well-known online travel agent, Booking.com.

Growing appeal Of significant importance and benefiting from strong internal resonance, the preparation of the event involves Swiss Education Group's core services (academic, marketing, operations, internships and careers). The strong presence of alumni returning to recruit new graduates is also worthy of note.

According to Benoît Samson, Chief Brand Officer at Swiss Education Group: “This year, the event is set to be intense and highly qualitative. Our students will come into direct contact with the directors and HR decision-makers of significant international companies active in the service and hospitality sectors. This is an exceptional opportunity for our students, each of whom will be invited to at least 2 interviews. More than 2,000 recruitment interviews will be arranged over a 48-hour period with hundreds of internships and new jobs up for grabs. More than 50% of the internship places clinched by our students are offered during the 48-hour IRF event”.
