“With his international background and flair for outstanding service, Gonçalo is the perfect person to assemble and lead our team as we look ahead to the opening of Four Seasons Hotel Montreal next year,” says Vince Parrotta, President, Hotel Operations – Americas, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.

Originally joining the family of Four Seasons in his native Lisbon 20 years ago, Gonçalo honed his hospitality skills in the food and beverage division across Europe before moving to Asia in 2010, first as Director of Food and Beverage before being promoted to Hotel Manager in 2014.

“Montreal is a city of artists and innovators, not to mention a population that is as passionate about cuisine as its beloved Canadiens hockey team,” says Gonçalo, who is fluent in Portuguese, French, English and Spanish. “There’s a unique energy and spirit here, and we are excited to share the experience with visitors to the city as well as the local community who we can’t wait to welcome to our restaurant and bar, our spa and our event spaces.”
