The Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts today announced the opening of ITC Grand Goa, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, on Arossim beach in Cansaulim, South Goa. Reinforcing its successful collaboration with ITC Hotels in India, the property celebrates the spirit of Goa and the rich culture of the destination. The resort’s village-styled architecture draws inspiration from the region’s Indo-Portuguese heritage, blending classical elegance with a distinctive regional allure. The Luxury Collection’s hotels across India are renowned for their award-winning dining options, and ITC Grand Goa is no exception, offering six signature dining experiences that bring to life the colors and flavors of the destination. The 252-room resort will also feature expansive indoor and outdoor meeting & banquet spaces as well as a spa showcasing time-honored Indian wellness principles through a curated menu of treatments and services. Set amongst 45 lushly-landscaped acres, with direct access to the pristine Arossim beach, ITC Grand Goa embraces the captivating culture of Goa.

“The opening of ITC Grand Goa marks a significant milestone in The Luxury Collection’s long-standing relationship with ITC, as our thirteenth property in India and our first beach resort in South Asia,” said Anthony Ingham, Global Brand Leader, The Luxury Collection. “Best known for its alluring beaches, Goa offers a diverse blend of Indian and Portuguese culture, architecture, and cuisine and we are thrilled to unlock this unique destination for global explorers, as only The Luxury Collection can.”

“After establishing our brand’s presence in the popular Golden Triangle circuit, New Delhi-Agra-Jaipur, the opening of ITC Grand Goa fortifies ITC Hotels’ leisure portfolio in this globally sought-after beach destination,” said Dipak Haksar, Chief Executive, ITC Hotels & WelcomHotels. “This resort embodies our commitment to showcase the diversity of India through unique and enriching experiences that bring to life both the culture and ethos of the destination. ITC Grand Goa further reinforces ITC Hotels’ exclusive partnership with The Luxury Collection brand in India.”

Views of rolling fields and coconut tree-lined village roads set the tone for a unique Goan sojourn on the 30-minute drive from the Goa International Airport. Guestrooms and suites feature private outdoor spaces with balconies or patios providing picturesque views of the Arabian Sea, lush gardens, lagoons as well as a multi-level swimming pool. Long-winding verandas and alcoves usher in a sense of warmth and space, while wooden floorings, terracotta roofs, subtle textures and verdant landscapes bring to life the spirit of the destination.

Indigenous and international flavors are celebrated at ITC Grand Goa’s six signature dining venues, including: Kebabs & Kurries, showcasing traditional Indian styles of cooking; Tempero (Portuguese: Seasoning), featuring distinct influences in Goan cuisine; Ottimo, featuring regional Italian cuisine; and Pavilion at the Market Place, an all-day dining venue blending Indian and inventive international cuisines. Guests can soak in panoramic views of the Arabian Sea at The Royal Afghan, a seaside barbecue and grill, and enjoy the finest indigenous and international spirits at Farol (Portuguese: Lighthouse), a multi-level poolside bar.

The hotel’s indigenous 36,000 sq. ft. spa., Kaya Kalp, The Royal Spa, is set amidst the tranquil environs of the resort and features 16 spa suites and signature treatments that infuse traditional Indian and international therapies. Underscoring ITC Hotels’ ethos of ‘Responsible Luxury’, ITC Grand Goa aims to showcase the culture and ethos of the destination through bespoke service, indigenous cuisine and partnerships with local artisans and communities.
