Today, Nanuku, Auberge Resorts Collection, the quintessential South Pacific paradise set along the legendary coastline of Fiji’s main island of Viti Levu, opens the doors to 13 luxury one- and two-bedroom Auberge Beach Villas, increasing Nanuku’s overall accommodations to 37 suites, villas, and residences. Each Auberge Beach Villa, now available, will offer the very best in both indoor and outdoor living including contemporary-styled interiors and exteriors, private plunge pools, expansive outdoor terraces, custom bathroom fixtures, and fully-equipped modern kitchens. Villas are steps from the property’s famed two-mile stretch of sand, providing unparalleled year-round access to activities such as snorkeling the resort’s own untouched coral reef.

“While our existing suites, villas, and residences are incredibly spacious, allowing couples, families, groups and incentive travelers to stay comfortably, the new Auberge Beach Villas provides an entirely new level of privacy and style – a true home away from home,” said Sascha Hemmann, General Manager, Nanuku, Auberge Resorts Collection. “The official opening of our new Villas not only elevates Nanuku but brings an entirely new product to Fiji, really raising the bar on luxury in the destination.”

Designed by internationally acclaimed, Australia-based Grounds Kent Architects, Auberge Beach Villas comprise of two-story Beachfront Villas situated on Nanuku’s private beach with uninterrupted ocean views, and Garden Villas nestled among lush tropical gardens with partial ocean views. Villas offer one-bedroom (900 square feet) and two-bedroom (1,850 square feet) options with interiors that reflect a sophisticated blend of British Colonial-era Fiji and clean, contemporary Pacific styles. In addition, Nanuku incorporated sustainable design elements that minimize importation of bulk construction materials: Villa windows and doors are made from locally sourced timber, such as certified sustainable mahogany, and roofing is made from partially recycled material. Ideal for travel groups of various size, multi-bedroom Villas accommodate up to four adults or two adults and two children under the same roof and contain one king bed, two twin beds, and two full bathrooms. Individual Villas can interconnect to form three and four-bedroom units to suit larger groups.

Each Villa has its own private courtyard, outdoor shower, 3-by-5-meter private plunge pool lined with natural Balinese sukabumi tile, covered terrace, pool cabana, two-person swing seat, double day bed, sun lounges, spacious living and dining areas and fully equipped modern kitchens with quartz counters. Upstairs, the master bedroom houses a four-poster bed with hand-carved posts, en suite bathroom with rainfall showerhead and custom freestanding oversized tub, walk-in closet, and private balcony. Second bedrooms also house an en suite and include twin beds that can be converted to a king.

Set in Fiji’s “Adventure Capital” of Pacific Harbour, Auberge Beach Villas serve as a luxe launchpad to share the ultimate Fijian experience with family and friends. The Villas provide primary access to over 50 once-in-a-lifetime “Auberge Adventures” such as visiting Nanuku’s own private island, beekeeping experiences, Olympic-inspired rugby training, mangrove replanting, intimate tree-top dining, food safaris, snorkeling and more. As part of a coral replanting program, an onsite marine scientist also assists guests in planting coral with personal tags so that they can witness growth year after year. At the end of the day, guests can recharge in the privacy of their own stately Villa, connect with friends and family in a relaxed communal setting, and enjoy a peaceful night’s rest listening to the gentle lull of waves lapping on sandy shores just outside.

Pricing starts at US$850 per night for a one-bedroom Garden Villa and US$1,150 per night for a two-bedroom, inclusive of a la carte breakfast and taxes.
