The much-anticipated Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok is set to open its doors in May 2020. Situated within the newly developed Sindhorn Village in the upscale Langsuan neighbourhood and just steps away from the verdant Lumphini Park, the hotel is poised to redefine luxury hospitality in the most visited city in the world. Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok is the second project between Kempinski Hotels and Siam Sindhorn Company Limited in Thailand.

“We have a longstanding and successful partnership with Siam Sindhorn Company Limited, who are our partners for the existing Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok. Our shared vision of creating superior lifestyle experiences, and delivering the highest levels of quality and services, shows our collective work in enhancing the luxury offering to our guests,” says Martin R. Smura, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Management Board of Kempinski Hotels.

Chalaluck Bunnag, Managing Director of Siam Sindhorn Company Limited, adds, “We are very pleased to partner with Kempinski Hotels on this ambitious project. The company is renowned for its expertise in managing residences and hotels around the world, and for bringing individuality and European flair to each property. We look forward to working together in bringing Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok to life.”

Commenting on the newest hotel, Michael Henssler, Chief Operating Officer of Asia and Member of the Management Board of Kempinski Hotels, says, “With the opening of our second property in Bangkok, we are pleased to enhance the guest experience even further by introducing a new take on a lifestyle hotel. From its thoughtful design to carefully curated personal services and wellness expertise, the hotel will elevate the Kempinski craftsmanship to new heights.”

Intuitive Design

Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok is nestled in the ‘green corridor’ of Bangkok and is the extension of the largest green space in the city – Lumphini Park. The design of the building seamlessly blends in with the eclectic tropical garden and its serene pathways surrounding the hotel. Every detail is devised to provide utmost comfort, from the soaring lobby basking in natural daylight to the spacious soundproof rooms and dedicated wellness programmes, all in anticipating the needs and wants of modern travellers.

“We are bringing a new perspective to luxury lifestyle travelling. I am particularly excited to introduce to our guests the wellness concept at the hotel, whereby we take wellbeing to the next level,” says Edward E. Snoeks, General Manager of Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok and The Residences at Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok. “Our vision from the start was to create a forward-looking and mindful guest journey with a refined approach to design, innovative guest experiences and impeccable service.”

With room sizes starting at 66 sq m, the largest lead-in room category in the city, the hotel’s 285 oversized guestrooms’ interiors feature authentic Thai elements. A nod to the local culture and everyday Thai life is showcased with the Phudtan, a local flower motif; vivid colours of Benjarong ceramics provide cheerful tones to the furnishings; whilst the intricate patterns of the Rajabopit temple grace the walls. Each room features a dining table, a standalone bath with a separate shower and a private balcony with a seating area for relaxing and admiring the surrounding greenery.

Feast of Flavours

At Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, the culinary team brings four distinctive dining and drinking concepts. On arrival to the hotel, the airy Lobby Lounge provides the archway to the gardens and hotel in warm and welcoming surroundings, whether for afternoon tea or relaxed business meetings. Perched on floor 9, Flow is a wonder world of superfood created by Chef Eric Lecras, the effervescent pioneer of modern wellness cuisine. The signature plant-based cuisine is a unique dining experience and the life source at the very heart of the ‘Wellness Lifestyle’ concept. The health-led menu offers only the best 100% certified organic produce, which is sourced locally for the ultimate nutrition-loaded eating experience. World cuisine comes alive at Flourish, a beautiful garden-view restaurant, featuring an open kitchen and serving epic breakfasts, and an all-day-dining menu with Thai, European, Mediterranean, Asian and vegan cuisine, including selected dishes from Flow. The night comes to life with the amber luminescence of Firefly Bar: dark wood, leather chairs and Casa Del Habano cigar parlour for the epicurean, with cocktails to adore, fine spirits selected to perfection and a quaint garden terrace to admire the night sky.

Meetings and Events

Designed for meetings in high definition, the flexible event spaces are suitable for 10 to 180 persons. Situated in the lush hotel garden, the outdoor spaces are a majestic venue for a range of events, from cocktail receptions to dinner under the stars. Appointed with business facilities and supported by professional staff, the function spaces make it the ideal choice for business and social gatherings.
