Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. today announced the appointment of Kristen Cavalieri Thompson as Director of Sales & Marketing for both the Sheraton Reston Hotel and the Westin Reston Heights Hotel which is scheduled to open in the Spring of 2008. The Sheraton Reston is an upscale hotel and conference facility located in suburban Virginia minutes from Washington Dulles International Airport. The hotel offers guests a resort-like setting, as it is directly across the street from the Reston National Golf Course. The Westin Reston Heights will also be an upscale hotel with 175 guestrooms including 64 suites when it opens in the Spring of 2008. It is located eight miles from Dulles International Airport and 23 miles from Washington, DC and Ronald Reagan National Airport. Crestline Hotels & Resorts manages both properties for the owner of both properties, The JBG Companies of Chevy Chase, MD.
Ms. Thompson brings extensive hospitality industry experience in sales and marketing to her new position. She joins Crestline Hotels & Resorts from Hilton Hotels Corporation where she was the Director of Sales for the Hiltons of Washington, DC: the Hilton Washington and the Capital Hilton. Prior to this position, Ms. Thompson was Director of Sales & Marketing for the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner. Ms. Thompson has also held sales and marketing positions with Wyndham Hotels and Benchmark Hospitality.
