Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. today announced the promotion of Martin D. McHenry to Director of Sales & Marketing for the Crowne Plaza Fairfield, NJ. The 204 guestroom hotel was recently purchased by True North Fairfield Property Partners, LLC, who appointed Crestline Hotels & Resorts as the management company. The upscale hotel with conference facilities is located in the heart of Northern New Jersey with easy access to New York City, Giant Stadium, the Meadowlands Sports Complex and Rutgers University, as well as Newark International Airport and New York’s LaGuardia Airport.
Prior to accepting this appointment, Mr. McHenry had served as Director of Rooms Operations and Director of Group Sales for the Hilton Parsippany Hotel, also a Crestline managed property. Earlier in his career he held hospitality management positions with the Hyatt Regency Wind Watch Hotel in Hauppauge, NY, the Sheraton Parsippany Hotel, NJ, and the Sheraton Stamford Hotel, CT.
“Marty is a tremendous leader with experience in sales and marketing as well as hotel operations,” said Vicki Denfeld, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Crestline Hotels & Resorts. “Given his track record for success we are confident he will help us improve service and grow revenue at this well located property,” added Denfeld.
Mr. McHenry attended Nassau Community College in NY. He has won numerous industry accolades including Manager of the Year for Sheraton Hotels.
