Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc., the management company for the new Westin Virginia Beach Town Center hotel, today announced the appointment of Erin Smith as Director of Sales & Marketing for the 236 guestroom upscale hotel. The hotel, which is scheduled to open this Fall, will be a focal point of the Town Center of Virginia Beach, a mixed-use “main street” style development located at the core of the city’s Central Business District and the home of its cultural, business and retail activities.

Developed by Armada-Hoffler, the Town Center spans over 17 city blocks and provides a mix of upscale retail, luxury residential, Class A offices, an array of restaurants, as well as the new Westin Hotel and Residences. The Westin Virginia Beach Town Center will share the 38 story high-rise tower with 119 luxury condominiums, whose owners will have access to many of the hotel’s services and amenities.

Ms. Smith joins Crestline Hotels & Resorts from The Silverwood Hotel & Conference Center in Colorado Springs, CO, where she was Director of Sales, Marketing and Catering. She brings more than 14 years of hospitality industry management experience to her role including senior positions with La Quinta Inns.

“Erin is an exceptional team leader who brings experience in sales and marketing for properties that are destination focused,” said Vicki Denfeld, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Crestline Hotels & Resorts. “The Westin Virginia Beach Town Center is destined to become the center point for Virginia Beach business and social life. We are confident that in addition to her work within the hotel, Erin will become an integral part of this vibrant community,” added Denfeld.

Ms. Smith studied Hospitality Management at Pikes Peak Community College and is active in the hospitality industry.
