Barceló Hotels & Resorts today announced the official grand opening of the luxury Barceló Sancti Petri Hotel in Chiclana, Cádiz, Spain. The luxurious 5-star seaside hotel is owned by Inmobiliaria Colonial and managed by Barceló as a Barceló Premium hotel.
The hotel is located along the southern coast of Spain and overlooks the beautiful five mile stretch of beach at La Barossa. Accommodations include 195 guestrooms and suites. Opening later this year are an additional 91 apartment-style accommodations. The hotel’s décor is contemporary, and the guestrooms are well appointed with comfort bedding, spa-style bathrooms and luxury amenities. For conferences, the Barceló Sancti Petri Hotel offers two meeting rooms and a fully equipped business center.
The hotel features three restaurants for casual and fine dining, as well as lounges and a swim-up bar in the main pool. For relaxation there is a full-service spa providing a large variety of treatments such as Roman thermal therapy, an ice fountain, a Turkish hamman, a Finnish sauna, Jacuzzi and hydro massage pools. There is also a Wellness Center with heated beauty cabins for treatments such as facials and massages.
For recreation guests may choose from the hotel’s five swimming pools with cascading water – one of which incorporates a children’s play pool, as well as aquatic and beach activities. In addition, the hotel is in close proximity to golf and horseback riding. In the evenings guests may enjoy live entertainment in the Siddharta Lounge which has an Asian atmosphere, The Dublín Bay Irish Pub with a 4 lane bowling alley and golf simulator, or nightly shows in the hotels own theatre.
The Barceló Novo Sancti Petri is located 30 minutes from Cadiz City and 40 minutes from Jerez Airport. It is a 90 minute drive from Seville International Airport.
