Since its establishment, the Champagne House has continued to push the boundaries of excellence through its expertise in champagne production. A natural extension of these values is the House’s historical involvement with arts. Maison Ruinart solidifies its commitment to the creative industry by entrusting each year a «carte blanche» to a contemporary artist: providing an avenue to express its heritage, history and expertise through the original and creative vision of artists. Through the use of organic elements such as blackened wood, charcoal or chardonnay leaves, Vik Muniz grasps the deep relationships between man and nature, craftsmen and vines, Ruinart and its terroir, revealing a sublime creative tension.

The Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo has used its excellence and longstanding expertise in hospitality to create an exclusive experience similar to the prestigious Champagne House, offering guests an original and immersive discovery of the Maison Ruinart. For each reservation, guests will be offered an exclusive invitation to Reims for a private tour of Crayères, a UNESCO world heritage site (valid for four people). The experience will continue at Odyssey, the restaurant and outdoor space imagined and created by Karl Lagerfeld where during the summer months will play host to a pop-up restaurant by Chef Rodrigo de la Calle. Creator of the «gastrobotanic», de la Calle is renowned for his used of natural ingredients, particularly vegetables. His menu reflects the same respect for nature demonstrated by artist Vik Muniz’s creative practice. This special menu could be paired with Ruinart champagne available at the restaurant.
