The Only Hotel in Megève with Direct Access to the Slopes

Only in Megève can skiers of all abilities traverse 100 kilometres (62 miles) of slopes while admiring spectacular views of Mont Blanc. In winter 2021, for the first time, guests of Four Seasons Hotel Megève can enjoy ski-in, ski-out access. The first stop is the Hotel’s cosy and comfortable ski-room, where guests will be fitted with pre-heated ski boots and can enjoy a coffee or frothy hot chocolate.

The Hotel’s ski concierge and ski valets will tailor-make experiences and ski packages, all provided with the best snow gear; from heli-ski safaris for the most adventurous of guests, to instructor-led skiing lessons for little ones. Guests can strap on their skis and jump straight onto the new ski lift, ideally positioned close to the Hotel doors, to be dropped off on the famous Mandarines slope.

A Winter Menu by Chef Anne-Sophie Pic at La Dame De Pic - Le 1920

Michelin-starred Chef Anne-Sophie Pic arrived in Megève for her first season “in-residence” in June 2021.

As she launched her first summer season, Chef Anne-Sophie was already working on the concept for her upcoming winter menu at Le Dame De Pic – Le 1920. Using only seasonal products, her dishes are constantly renewed depending on the organic spoils of the region, offering an endlessly changing dining experience.

Chef Anne-Sophie says:I wanted the menu for our first winter season to be, above everything else, joyful - the joy of being around a beautiful table, of excellent service and a friendly atmosphere, seemed essential to me. Our menu will also represent the best that the mountain has to offer, such as local cheeses and dairies, botanical produce such as aromatic alpine herbs and cardoons from one of Ariane de Rothschild’s estates. All this, alongside a wine list by our sommelier Paz Levinson, who guarantees a fantastic selection of wine to complement the menu. For our first winter season we have also introduced some cocktails, both traditional and alcohol-free.”

A Holistic Apres-Ski Experience

Located in the tranquil setting of the Alps, the Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Megève offers a range of treatments and experiences that make for the perfect end to an active day on the slopes.

A European exclusive at the Hotel, Well CBD treatments are known for their soothing properties after intense physical activity or to relieve everyday aches and pains. Infused with essential oils such as lavender, lemongrass and tea tree, their products are composed of vegan active ingredients, and are GMO-, gluten- and certified 100 percent THC-free.

After any treatment, guests can relax in the indoor-outdoor pool, heated to 28 C (82 F), with a view over the snow-covered peaks.

Family Adventures to Discover the best of Megève

Four Seasons Hotel Megève is particularly well-suited to guests with families and young children. In the winter, the Kids’ Kingdom welcomes children aged three to 12 years old into a magical setting for “edutainment” with qualified children’s entertainers.

During the school holidays, the Hotel team ensures an itinerary bursting with ideas to entertain little ones, with a weekly schedule of activities from baking classes to sports days, fun fairs and dinners specially-prepared for kids.

Older children and teenagers will also find their own escape in the Teen Zone. Accessible to all over the age of 12 years old, the area is designed as a film set and offers arcade games, a foosball table, a juke box, video games and a multimedia corner. The highlight is the cosy cinema room, much-envied by adult guests.

The Hotel team can also tailor outdoor activities for families, turning the Alps into a winter playground for all ages.

Varied excursions include dog-sledding trips, snowmobile rides, a biathlon competition, a family carriage ride, or introductory ski lessons. Nemo, the Hotel’s bernese mountain dog, is also known to accompany children on an energising mountain walk.

The Mont Blanc Suite – An Entire Floor of One’s Own

This winter, Four Seasons Hotel Megève offers the Mont Blanc Suite, a prestigious signature suite that occupies the entire 5th floor of the property and gives sweeping views of the Aravis Mountains.

The suite, which connects three bedrooms and two smaller suites, was designed with families in mind, with a spacious open-plan living and dining area that offers a contemporary residential feel.

Henry Jacques Le Meme, and the architecture style of his famous mountain chalets, inspired the design of the suite’s wooden ceilings and granite bathrooms.

Designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon together with Ariane de Rothschild, the space is filled with design elements including an alabaster table in the dining room and an opulent, free-standing bath with a mountain view in the primary bathroom.

Rochon said: We have chosen new and lighter tones in a green colour palette, inspired by the region’s nature in the summer.”

Ariane de Rothschild hand-picked the works of art adorning the suite’s walls, bringing it all together with her unique taste.

Beyond the Mont Blanc Suite, the Hotel has many suites and connecting rooms, ideal for group and family stays.

Ultimate luxury experience will end on 2022-03-14
