Representatives from more than 120 of France’s most important high-end hoteliers and travel suppliers, including icons of French hospitality, along with the most elegant boutique properties with city, countryside, mountain and seaside locations met one-on-one with 130 of the world’s top English-speaking travel advisors and travel specialists who focus on France, as well as journalists and influencers.

Focusing on one single destination in the destination itself, DUCO France’s educational approach provided the perfect environment for a full immersion in all things French.

Conceived by DUCO Travel Summit’s founder, Carolina Perez, DUCO France encouraged the resumption of high-end tourism in France and offered an exclusive meeting platform for its guests, resulting in 3,400 meetings throughout the four day “Vive La France” experience.

It is an honor to have started this initiative in France with the support of all the partners who have trusted DUCO France from the start,” said Carolina Perez, Founder of DUCO.

We are proud to have gathered the most respected hoteliers of France, to foster knowledge and spark inspiration to our guests, travel agents—all keen to learn more and dive deeper into France. It has been an incredible week in Paris, with the crème de la crème of our industry coming together, celebrating the Excellence of French hospitality. DUCO France inaugural event has left myself and my team with a keen sense of accomplishment and gratitude for being able to contribute to the high-end tourism in the country. We cannot wait to start planning DUCO France 2022!

The first annual niche destination-oriented travel event celebrated France’s world of refined hospitality, showcasing the country’s diverse beauty and culture, while promoting a full immersion in French lifestyle.

The success of the invitation-only French initiative confirms its official return to Paris next year for the second annual edition of DUCO France, from October 24 to 28, 2022.

Refreshing and elegant and well organized. Truly, this was a gift for all of us – to be able to be together with old friends, see Paris in all its glory, and learn about wonderful new gems many of even the most seasoned advisors never really knew,” noted Jack Ezon, Founder & Managing Partner of EMBARK Beyond.

Applause and congratulations for such an amazing week! DUCO managed to create such a beautiful gathering; we are now all even more empowered for what’s next to come! Bravo! We can’t wait for the 2022 edition,” commented Nathaniel Most, Director of Sales & Marketing of La Réserve Hotels Apartments, Villas & Spas.

Great contacts, great venues and atmosphere. DUCO is the new unmissable rendez-vous for the French luxury hospitality actors,” noted Mathilde Tissot, Global Sales Manager of Maisons & Hotels Sibuet.

DUCO France is a ground-breaking initiative and the first travel summit to focus on France as one single destination, highlighting the excellence of French hospitality to the world’s most important buyers.

With DUCO, France is on the calendar of the world’s finest travel events with its innovative approach to arranging meetings every day in a different venue.

Beyond the annual event in Paris, DUCO France is a channel for the year-round promotion of France.

DUCO Galerie was inaugurated in 2021 with an online showcase that offers insights into DUCO France’s hotels, as well as hidden secrets for every region, delightful dishes, and other creative content at your fingertips. In spring 2021, DUCO Virtuel, the online one-to-one meeting program, was held for the first time and has tapped into the network for a much-anticipated live event.

Created by the Brazilian-Italian entrepreneur and event specialist Carolina Perez, DUCO France has been designed to foster networking opportunities between top French hospitality providers and the best travel advisors from key markets such as North America, UK and Australia.

DUCO France builds on the success of its sister event, DUCO Italy, bringing the same concept and consistent work to France, focusing on one destination in the destination itself, inviting participants to discover, explore and immerse themselves in the cultural gems of France.

The fourth annual DUCO Italy will be held in Florence, Italy from March 21st - 25th, 2022 and DUCO France’s second annual event will be held in Paris, France from October 24 – 28, 2022.

Carolina Perez spent 16 years working in the family business, Teresa Perez Tours, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

In 2009, she founded Travelweek Sao Paulo, an international travel show acquired by ILTM Reed Exhibitions in 2013.

After a sabbatical period, she was ready to pursue a new dream: to launch DUCO, first in Italy and later in France. Since DUCO’s debut in 2018, she continues to grow and build on opportunities in the travel sector, including the recent launch of DUCO France. Carolina’s passion for travel is the soul of DUCO. As the company’s founder, she is proud and honored to be leading these initiatives.
