 Christian Jaquier appointed as Capella Ubud General Manager With over 20 years of diverse experience in luxury hospitality across Asia, Africa, and the United States, Christian brings a unique blend of expertise, warmth, and a deep passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences.
A seasoned hotelier, Christian has held multiple senior leadership roles with some of the world's most renowned hospitality brands, including The Ritz-Carlton and AYANA Resorts.
His expertise spans pre-openings, repositioning projects and implementing innovative service standards. Most recently Christian served as General Manager of Long Beach Mauritius. Beyond his professional achievements, Christian finds joy in life’s simple pleasures with his family.
He enjoys hiking in nature, playing badminton, and experimenting in the kitchen. As he steps into his new role, Christian is excited to lead the Capella Ubud team, working hand in hand to uphold the personalised guest experiences and continue the meaningful connections with local villages the team has built since its opening in 2018.
