Nicolas De Gols appointed General Manager of Shangri-La Paris

Shangri-La Paris is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicolas De Gols as its new General Manager.

His arrival marks a new chapter in the history of this iconic palace, the former residence of Prince Roland Bonaparte, which perfectly embodies the highest standards of excellence, harmoniously blending Asian hospitality with the French art de vivre.

With an outstanding international background acquired at some of the most prestigious addresses, Nicolas De Gols brings a unique expertise in the world of luxury hospitality.

His career has taken him from Paris to the U.S. West Coast within the Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts group, where he held key positions at the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris, then in Beverly Hills and Seattle, before returning to Paris in 2018.

His experience as Director of Food & Beverage at the George V – home to three Michelin-starred restaurants – gave him in-depth knowledge of the Parisian luxury hospitality scene, which he further demonstrated as General Manager of the Royal Monceau, where he successfully combined innovation and excellence.

He also oversaw food & beverage operations for Accor Europe's luxury portfolio. Nicolas De Gols will bring his creative vision and strong leadership to uphold the exceptional standards for which the palace and its restaurants & bar are renowned.

A graduate of the Lycée Hôtelier Paul Augier in Nice and holder of a Certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management from Cornell University in New York State, Nicolas De Gols combines elite training with a deep passion for the art of hospitality.

His international expertise and in-depth understanding of the Parisian luxury market are key assets in writing the next chapter of ShangriLa Paris' story.
