We are seeking a Head Chef to lead an international team of 9 individuals (Sous Chef, Japanese Cuisine Chef, Pastry Chef, 3 Line Chefs, and 2 Dishwashers). You will be responsible for preparing breakfasts and room service. Flexibility and creativity will be essential to meet the expectations of our demanding clientele. You and your team will also be responsible for providing quality meals for the hotel staff.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of 9 in the kitchen.
- Plan, organize, and prepare breakfasts and room service.
- Provide personalized and high-quality service to our clients.
- Manage inventory and food product orders.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards.
- Develop innovative menus tailored to the needs of our clientele.
- Oversee the preparation of meals for the staff canteen.
- Work closely with other hotel departments to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Desired Profile:
- Culinary training and significant experience as a Head Chef in a luxury establishment.
- Experience in team management and menu planning.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to the changing needs of the clientele.
- Creativity and passion for cooking.
- Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards.
- Proficiency in kitchen and inventory management software.
- Fluent English required.
