Front of House Intern (M/F)
DESCRIPTION OF THE JOBAs an operational intern, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of daily operations. If you are scheduled for the morning shift, some of your responsibilities will include:
• Breakfast Service: Oversee the morning breakfast setup and ensure smooth service for our guests
• Check-Out Procedures: Manage the check-out process, including handling payments and bidding farewell with professionalism
• Opening Preparation: Ensuring the pool area, spa area and outdoor terrace are ready for the day, which might involve setting up equipment, organizing materials, or conducting initial checks
• Guest Assistance: Address guest inquiries, assist with special requests, and arrange bookings (e.g., tours, transport, or dining reservations)
• Practical Support: Assist the housekeeping team when needed to ensure rooms and public spaces maintain the highest standards of cleanliness
• You will assist in preparing and assembling lunch platters for guests upon request, ensuring they are presented to the highest standard and meet guest expectations
If you are scheduled for the afternoon shift, some of your responsibilities will include:
• Guest Reception & Check-In: Warmly welcome guests upon arrival, manage check-in procedures, and guide them to their rooms
• You will assist with maintaining inventory and stocking the pool bar, ensuring it is well-prepared for service. Additionally, you will support in providing beverages to hotel guests, delivering exceptional service to enhance their experience
• At the end of the day, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the pool area and terrace
• You will conduct room inspections following housekeeping services to ensure all accommodations meet the established standards of cleanliness and presentation, ensuring they are ready for arriving guests.
PROFILE REQUIRED• Professional English; conversational French is essential
• Driving license is a plus
• A proactive, enthusiastic attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality
• Strong team player mindset, with the flexibility to take on a variety of practical tasks
• A willingness to learn and grow within a supportive environment
• Initiative-taking, autonomous, well-presented
