Chef de partie (M/F)





DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB

The Château de Chailly, a 4-star hotel and an iconic address in Burgundy, is looking for a Chef de Partie (M/F) to join its kitchen brigade on a temporary contract.

In this unique heritage setting, you will contribute to delivering a refined and memorable culinary experience to our guests: leisure travelers, golfers, corporate clients, weddings and banquets.

Your missions
Reporting to the Sous-Chef and the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for:

👨‍🍳 Culinary production
  • Preparing and executing dishes within your section (hot, cold, pastry depending on assignment).
  • Contributing to the creation and presentation of dishes for the gastronomic restaurant, the bistrot and banqueting.
  • Ensuring compliance with recipes, quality and presentation standards.
📦 Organization & hygiene
  • Setting up and managing your workstation effectively.
  • Maintaining the highest hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP).
  • Assisting with stock control and reporting supply needs.
🤝 Teamwork
  • Training and supporting commis chefs and apprentices within your section.
  • Contributing to the team spirit and the gastronomic image of the Château.
  • Collaborating with other sections to ensure smooth service.
PROFILE Profile required
  • Culinary training (CAP, BEP, NVQ or equivalent).
  • Previous experience as a Demi-Chef de Partie or Chef de Partie in a quality restaurant or luxury hotel.
  • Strong organizational skills, reliability and a team player attitude.
  • Passion for gastronomy and interest in regional products.
  • Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
