The hotel has a Bellefontaine Spa, a "L'Atelier" ski room, a hairdressing salon, a "Le Bellini's" bar and a starred restaurant, the "SW 1850" with at commands chef Sylvestre Wahid**. Head butler (M/F)
Reports directly to the Director of Operations.
Main Responsibilities 1. Guest Welcome and Satisfaction
Serve as the primary point of contact for butlers, ensuring guest well-being throughout their stay (from pre-arrival preparation to departure).
Coordinate guest requests, handle complaints, and escalate issues to the Executive Housekeeper as needed.
Deliver personalized service: Anticipate and fulfill guest expectations, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
2. Team Management and Training
Train butlers and ensure compliance with established procedures.
Prepare butler schedules in accordance with assignments defined by the Executive Housekeeper.
Act as a butler when required.Step in for butlers during absences
3. Operational and Logistical Management
Inventory management: Monitor stock levels and submit monthly inventory reports to management.
Verify guest invoices: Ensure accurate posting in the POS system.
Inspect apartments prior to butler departures: Check cleanliness, stock levels, and service quality.
4. Inter-Departmental Coordination
Liaise with Reception/Concierge: Respond to guest requests via WhatsApp and coordinate in-room services.
Update guest profiles (Cardex) in collaboration with Reception/Concierge.
5. Reporting and Continuous Improvement
Report feedback (complaints, suggestions) to the operational director.
Contribute to process improvements to enhance guest satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications Experience and Expertise
Proven experience in team management within the luxury hospitality sector.
Soft Skills
Strong customer service orientation, rigor, reactivity, and ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in management tools (POS).
Organizational skills, versatility, and attention to detail.
Languages
Fluent English is essential.
Proficiency in an additional language (Russian, Portuguese, Spanish, or Arabic) is highly valued.
