Assistant Head Butler (M/F)
JOB DESCRIPTION Ass. Head Butler
The St. Regis Bora Bora is located in one of the most beautiful and romantic islands, set amid endless Pacific waters. The 90 bungalows sets within 22 acres offer a unique experience over the lagoon facing the Mt Otemanu.
Reporting to the EAM in charge of Rooms Division and the Head Butler, the Ass. Head Butler is responsible for the overall success of the Butler Department.
The butlers are the face of St. Regis service; bespoke, engaging, anticipatory and ensuring that their contribution to our overall guest experience make St. Regis Bora Bora the best address. The Head Butler will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Butler team, ensuring that the team executes brilliantly across all areas.
BASICS Oversight and hands-on fulfillment of all Butler activities; including pre-arrival, arrival, oversight of stay, departure, post-departure Butler duties, and all Signature Butler Services. Some activities that the Head Butler / Duty Manager may perform or oversee:
Performing and/or auditing on Signature Butler Services
Perform and/or auditing of Arrival and Departure processes, including, oshibori refresher towels, refreshment, and welcome and Fond Farewell from the Butler team. Escort guests to room. Offer and explain Butler service. Offer and facilitate garment pressing and shoeshine service, complimentary coffee or tea with wake up call. Packing and unpacking service. Touch each Butler service room daily refreshing water and amenities. Assist with guest departure as requested.
Assist with maintaining and updating current guest history records specifically targeting guest preferences, stay patterns, and personal profiles. Use these data sources to tailor make the stay experience.
Ensure Butler team is continuously finding ways to Build Loyalty Beyond Reason through ‘Executing Flawlessly’ on all service standards, and building relationships with all guests staying in Suites.
Assist the Head Butler in the supervisory tasks to manage the Butler team, including creating weekly schedule (within Staffing Guidelines), training staff, inventory and purchasing needed products and supplies, conducting daily pre-shift meetings, and completing Butler reports.
Checking reservations of the guests
Preparing all the personalized information for arrival.
