Qualifications

Department: Rooms Division

Reporting to: General Manager / Hotel Manager
The Director of operations - Rooms is responsible for overseeing all operations related to the Rooms Division, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Concierge, Guest Relations and Engineering. The primary objective is to ensure an exceptional guest experience while optimizing revenue and operational costs.

Your strengths:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a role of Rooms Manager, Director of Operations or Executive Assistant Manager - Rooms
  • Experience in a high-volume 4 or 5-star hotel environment is a strong wish
  • Strong skills in budget management and financial analysis
  • Solution-oriented mindset with the ability of making quick, effective decisions
  • Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of French is a plus but not mandatory
Scope of responsibility:
  • 995 rooms, team of 201 employees
  • Supervising all departments within the Rooms Division: Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, Guest Relations and Engeneering
  • Ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction and following up thoroughly on all accommodation-related issues
  • Developing, managing, and analyzing the budget for all departments under your responsibility
  • Fostering a positive and motivating work environment for team members and collaborating closely with other hotel departments (F&B, Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.) to ensure synergy and operational efficiency
