Fairmont Orchid hotel in Hawaii sold for $250 million

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Inc has sold its for $250 million. However the group will continue to manage the resort, which will keep its name, under a long-term management contract. Fairmont bought the Fairmont Orchid hotel in 2002 for $140 million.
