It is a man of experience who takes over the management of The Woodward Geneva, a hotel of Oetker Collection, and succeeds Duarte Bon de Sousa. Allessio Minetto has over 20 years of experience in the international luxury hotel industry.

After studying in the United States and the United Kingdom, the Italian joined the renowned Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne. After starting his career in the hotel industry at the Four Seasons George V in Paris, Mr Minetto held management positions in some of the world's most prestigious establishments: Plaza Athénée in Paris, Posta Vecchia in Rome, Hôtel de Paris in Monaco and Ritz-Carlton in Shanghai. Before taking up the challenge offered by the Oetker Group, Alessio Minetto was General Manager of the Mezzatorre Hotel & Thermal Spa in Ischia, on the Bay of Naples.

According to Dr. Timo Gruenert, CEO of the Oetker Collection, this appointment was a natural choice: "With his rich and solid experience in numerous luxury properties around the world, I am convinced that Alessio will be able to lead the teams of our new Geneva house with a masterful hand and lead it to success”.

Nestled on the shores of Lake Geneva, with a breathtaking view of Mont Blanc, The Woodward stands out in the Geneva hotel scene.

Indeed, this prestigious Belle Epoque address, built in 1901, is the fourteenth five-star hotel in the city and the only one exclusively made up of suites, 26 in total, 21 of which offer an incredible view of Lake Geneva and its famous water jet, the city's emblem. Designed by the famous Parisian architect Pierre-Yves Rochon, who has created a mansion-like setting that blends contemporary and classical inspirations, this luxury setting offers breathtaking views of the lake and the Alps.

The Woodward offers an extremely refined gastronomic experience thanks to its two restaurants. The Atelier Robuchon embodies the principle of an open kitchen, dear to the emblematic multi-starred chef Joël Robuchon. In a theatrical atmosphere, the 36 guests enjoy a unique culinary experience around the counter, admiring the work of the chefs, or in the two adjoining rooms, in a warm atmosphere.

Le Jardinier is the first European variation of the concept signed by starred chef Alain Verzeroli. Directed by Executive Chef Olivier Jean, this address sublimates dishes in which vegetables play the leading role. All of this in an elegant space overlooking the Geneva harbor and offering guests a panoramic view of the lake and the mountains.

The Woodward is also home to Le Spa Guerlain. A place that invites you to let go and relax in the hands of experts in a 1,200 square meter wellness area with a 21 meters indoor pool, the longest in Geneva. A gym, two saunas, two hammams, two Swedish baths and a whirlpool complete this space. For exclusive treatments, six cabins, including one for couples, welcome clients in regenerating comfort and calm.

With such assets, The Woodward can only fill with pride the CEO of Oetker Collection.
