The 2023 edition broke records, showing just how essential face-to-face meetings are: there were nearly 15,000 participants, including over 5,000 buyers (and over 4,000 hosted buyers).

Above all, this year's event lived up to expectations in terms of quality, with over 73,000 face-to-face appointments, short- and long-term bookings and a return to incentive travel. Another interesting and promising sign was that a fifth of buyers represented companies.

The parallel sessions were also a great success, with over 2,000 people cutting short their visit to attend one of the training courses covering topics ranging from personal development to trends and AI.

The show also featured a brand-new application, developed by Expoplatform. Efficient and very useful, it enabled visitors to book appointments immediately. In fact, the organizers announced that 3,000 appointments were made on site in real time. Another advantage for exhibitors was the ability to invite colleagues to the meeting.

Thanks to the application, exhibitors could easily badge their visitors. As a result, 124,000 contacts were digitized over the course of the week. As the sector is known to be very keen on professional encounters, visitors also got to know each other at the show and badged each other to keep track of their contact details. Exhibitors also took advantage of the app to keep track of the contact details of other exhibitors.

Finally, the organizers intend to analyze all this data to further improve the visitor experience, and also to be able to send geolocalized notifications.

A date has already been set for next year's event: IMEX America, to be held once again at the Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, from October 7 to 10, 2024, with "Impact" as its theme.
