A new event is coming to the 2025 autumn calendar for luxury tourism professionals. On Tuesday 13 May 2025, Nicolas Zimmermann, founder of the event, announced the arrival of ‘Crème de la crème’ to the press on the mezzanine of the La Bauhinia restaurant at the Shangri-La Paris hotel.

Born out of a desire to create a space for networking ‘between international luxury players and French-speaking buyers,’ Crème de la Crème will take place for the first time from 13 to 16 October in some of Paris' most beautiful venues and hotels. Around 50 carefully selected operators from around the world will meet with nearly 70 buyers, mainly from France, but also from Switzerland, Belgium and Monaco.

After an afternoon reserved for the press in the salons of the Hôtel des Arts et Métiers, suppliers and buyers will be able to meet around an exceptional table at Le Meurice for an opening dinner created by Alain Ducasse and Cédric Grolet. This first event celebrating haute cuisine, held in one of the capital's luxury hotels, will offer a taste of the days to come, with a presentation by Thomas Mesmin, partner at the MAD consulting firm and specialist in the luxury and ultra-luxury sectors.

The following day, all participants will gather at the Shangri-La Paris for fifteen-minute meetings, during which operators will present their products and buyers will outline their needs. Among the fifty or so exhibitors are groups, hotels, cruise lines and even prestigious destinations, including Dorchester Collection, Jumeirah, Explora Journeys, Orient Express, and the tourist offices of Vienna, Monaco and Cabo. ‘Everyone must meet everyone else; that's the promise we want to keep,’ said Nicolas Zimmerman.

He also emphasised that Crème de la Crème aims to be a considerable time saver for both exhibitors and buyers: ‘You have time to visit everyone over the course of a year, but you save time by investing in a trade show like this and seeing everyone in three days. We offer the best business developers the opportunity to meet the best luxury operators.’

Far from being a simple facilitator of professional meetings, the show aims to create connections: at the end of these moments of exchange, participants will be invited to take part in cultural, sporting and culinary activities and experiences so that ‘everyone can meet outside the prism of work. The beauty of luxury is above all human.’ The programme includes yoga, running, classes on how to make your own leather wallet and other surprises that Nicolas Zimmermann did not wish to reveal, to keep the suspense intact until October. The mystery also remains intact as to the second gala dinner offered by Crème de la Crème, which also promises to take guests to an exceptional location. The closing ceremony is already known, as it will take place at the Galerie Bourbon in the 16th arrondissement of Paris.

With all these promises, Crème de la Crème is shaping up to be a new benchmark event for luxury tourism professionals. This first edition aims to create much more than a trade show: a space for connection and inspiration that meets the high standards of the luxury sector.
