There's a new place to unwind on the eastern shore
of Kauai. Aveda Lifestyle Salon and Spa at the Outrigger Waipouli Beach Resort & Spa has opened its doors and offers guests a full menu of facials, massages and other pampering treatments, all using only Aveda products that
are purely plant-sourced. The Outrigger Waipouli Beach Resort's spa is the first Aveda spa on the Garden Isle, and the only Aveda resort spa in Hawaii.

Aveda's spa massage treatments include selections that range in length from 45 to 120 minutes. Massages include a variety of techniques, such as relaxing Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage, or a massage using warm seashells for soothing achy muscles, or a Kauai Pohaku massage that combines the aromatic
power of Aveda Pure Flower and Plant essences with warm river stones for calming and relaxing sessions. Expectant mothers can enjoy the Hapai (pregnancy) massage, which helps improve circulation, reduce leg cramps and swollen ankles, and relieve headaches.

In addition to the individual spa services, Outrigger Waipouli Beach Resort's new Aveda Spa offers combination packages, called "spa journeys."
Options include "The Waipouli Experience," complete with a Lomi Lomi Massage, Waipouli Flower Milk Bath and an Aveda gift to take home; or the extravagant "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" spa journey with a Rainforest Massage, a Results and Recovery Facial and a Revitalizing Eye Treatment for
the face and décolleté finish, not to mention the Radiant Hands and Sole Renewal for a complete spa experience.
For couples on a romantic getaway or guests on their honeymoon, the Aveda spa experts at the Outrigger Waipouli Beach Resort can bring the spa to their suite. The romantic journey for two begins with a 75-minute Elemental
Nature Massage followed by the Waipouli Flower Milk Bath Soak and two of Aveda's signature Waipouli spa robes to take home.
The salon portion of the spa has a full staff of Aveda-trained stylists offering hair color and styling, makeup consultations, manicures, pedicures and hair removal.
