Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh recently scooped first place in the ‘Best Hotel/Resort in the Middle East & Africa’ category of the 2007 Gallivanter’s Awards for Excellence. This is not the first time the Hotel has received such an accolade; it won a place in this category in 2002, just after it opened, and was listed in the award’s Top Five Best Resorts in Europe, Middle East and Africa in 2006.
The much coveted awards are the result of a highly-regarded annual readers’ poll, taking in the opinions of the most seasoned of travellers. As a brand, Four Seasons Hotel and Resorts emerged the victor as ‘Best Hotel Group Worldwide’ and received a remarkable ten first places, as well as twenty-eight listings across a variety of other prestigious categories.
