Morgans Hotel Group Announces New Music Series With Giant Step at Hudson in 2008: 'Monday Nights at Hudson'

Morgans Hotel Group has once again teamed up with the renowned music and lifestyle company, Giant Step, to curate and promote "Monday Nights at Hudson". The series started on February 11th, 2008 and will run through October 2008. Giant Step is bringing the most sought after international DJ talent to Hudson on alternate Monday nights from 6:00pm-10:00pm.
The series will expand upon the success of the partnership that began last year when Morgans Hotel Group first approached Giant Step in Spring of 2007 to put together a 10 part summer DJ series that included artists such as Ben Watt of Everything But The Girl (UK), Miguel Migs, DJ Spinna, Danny Krivit, King Britt, Benji B (UK), Bobbito Garcia, Spiritual South (UK), Turntables On The Hudson and DJ Moni. The program was such a favorite amongst New York tastemakers and the downtown music scene that Hudson and Giant Step have developed an additional 20 part series to further develop the program's popularity with an even more diverse roster of talent.
The "Private Park Presents" series helped reinvigorate an authentic dialogue with exclusive nightlife tastemakers in 2007 and Monday Nights at Hudson will no doubt further cultivate that experience in 2008.
Artists will be announced shortly before each event and entrance is by RSVP only.
