Just in time for daylight saving – when clocks will be set one hour ahead on Sunday, March 9, 2008 – Hilton Garden Inn® announced today its annual “Give Back the Hour” promotion which gives guests an extra two hours for check-out.1 In observance of this big day, guests staying at participating Hilton Garden Inn locations will be treated to an extended check-out time of 2 p.m. (instead of the standard noon check-out) this Sunday, at no additional cost.

The annual promotion is available for one day only and guests will be notified of the extended late check-out upon arriving at the hotel. Guests won’t have to look further than their hotel or guestroom for ideas on how to spend those two additional hours that may include:

* Sleeping in and enjoying the comforts of the Garden Sleep SystemTM bed
* Sitting down at the hotel’s restaurant for a leisurely “Lazy Breakfast” – served until 11 a.m.
* Working out in the hotel’s complimentary fitness center
* Enjoying a relaxing dip in the hotel’s swimming pool or whirlpool2
* Watching a comedy, cartoon or drama on our HDTV’s3 and munching on snacks from the 24-hour Pavilion Pantry ®
* Doing some laundry in the guest laundry facility – or not!

“Even though clocks will ‘spring forward’ this Sunday, Hilton Garden Inn guests won’t be losing that hour – in fact, they’ll be gaining two hours through our ‘Give Back the Hour’ promotion when they take advantage of the late check-out,” said Jim Cone, vice president – marketing for Hilton Garden Inn. “The gift of time is priceless and there are many ways guests can spend those extra two extra hours at our hotels.”

The “Give Back the Hour” promotion complements the Hilton Garden Inn brand’s marketing campaign “Tomorrow’s a Big Day” which was developed to communicate the brand’s commitment to its hotel guests to understand the importance of every day. Extending a late check-out on Sunday, March 9 when time ‘springs forward’ is one more way Hilton Garden Inn helps guests prepare for tomorrow whether they are staying at our hotels for business or fun.

Other upcoming “Big Days” that Hilton Garden Inn will celebrate this year include:

* Earth Day
* Mother’s and Father’s Day
* 4th of July
* Election Day
* Thanksgiving Day

Hilton Garden Inn offers more than 350 locations throughout North America and Europe with amenities that help guests sleep deep, stay fit, eat well and work smart while on the road.
