Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. today announced the appointment of David S. Hume as Director of Sales & Marketing for the Rocky Gap Lodge & Golf Resort near Cumberland, MD. This unique resort sits on the shore of a pristine 243-acre lake in a beautiful forested area, and boasts Maryland’s only Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course.
Mr. Hume has an extensive hospitality industry background that spans more than 17 years. He joins Crestline from the Atheneum Suite Hotel in Detroit where he was Director of Sales & Marketing. Prior to that position he held sales and marketing leadership positions for the Radisson Plaza Hotel & Suites in Kalamazoo, MI; The Peabody Hotel in Little Rock, AR; and the Hotel Roanoke, VA.
“David’s expertise in growing sales will be a tremendous asset for the Rocky Gap Lodge & Golf Resort,” said Vicki Denfeld, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Crestline Hotels & Resorts. “In addition, David brings a commitment to customer service and guest satisfaction that is essential to the Rocky Gap Resort’s success,” added Denfeld.
Mr. Hume holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
