Following the great success of Executive Chef Lee Streeton’s Christmas cooking course, “Time to Talk Turkey”, Rocco Forte’s Brown’s Hotel will be hosting a series of Culinary Days, focusing on creating the finest seasonal dishes with the freshest of specially-sourced produce.
Each class will have a maximum of 6 people, offering participants the perfect environment in which to soak up the knowledge of one of London’s most talented executive chefs. This is a unique experience with a professional but informal day of culinary learning, topped off with a fabulous meal where you can enjoy all the fruits of your labour and settle back in the chic and elegant environment of the hotel’s restaurant.
The Culinary Day includes:
* Morning coffee with Executive Chef, Lee Streeton
* Private transfer to Borough Market with Lee to meet the hotel’s suppliers and select the seasonal ingredients
* A demonstration on how to prepare and cook all the ingredients
* Lunch in the restaurant, tasting the prepared dishes and including ½ bottle of house wine
Saturday 14th June 2008 – Summer seasonal ingredients such as lobsters, asparagus, peas & strawberries.
Saturday 18th October 2008 – Winter seasonal ingredients such as game, root vegetables & mushrooms.
Saturday 13th December 2008 – Christmas ingredients and advice on preparing Christmas lunch.
Saturday 31st January 2009 – Valentine’s ingredients to ensure the 14th February is a night to remember.
