Double honour for Amadeus' e-Travel unit

For the second year running, e-Travel, the e-commerce division of Amadeus, has won the prestigious "World's Leading Internet Booking Engine Technology Provider" prize, at the World Travel Awards.
The World Travel Awards acknowledges and celebrates excellence in the world's travel and tourism industry. Votes are cast by travel professionals in over 200 countries around the world.

The repeated recognition for Amadeus comes on the strength of continued, stellar performance of the company's e-Retail Engine (Planitgo).

In addition to a world-leading, on-demand hosting solution, Amadeus in the last 12 months has worked to develop new product features and services to enhance the end-user's online experience. This has included pre-sales merchandising and post-sales servicing online, both of which have boosted conversion and retention rates respectively. In this period, the reliability metrics of Amadeus' e-Retail Engine (Planitgo) servers for Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas, has exceeded 99.9%.
