New Starwood Vacation Ownership Resort Offers Guests a Relaxing
Retreat

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT) recently welcomed its first guests and owners to its third vacation ownership resort in Hawai'i, The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas. The resort will join Starwood's other resorts on Kaua'i, the Sheraton Kaua'i and Princeville Resort, continuing Starwood's 60-year tradition in the Hawaiian Islands.

Located within the community of Princeville on Kaua'i's North Shore, the oceanfront property comprises 18.5 acres dramatically perched 200 feet above Hawai'i's famous Anini Beach. The resort features 173 two-bedroom villas, four pools, three whirlpools, a two-story clubhouse, a restaurant, and general store. The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas adds another key location to SVO's growing portfolio of vacation ownership resorts. While the resort's guests will primarily be owners, when not is use by owners the villas will also be offered as nightly rentals for visitors seeking larger accommodations for family travel or longer stays.

"We are focused on offering a personal and renewing experience to guests who choose to stay with us at The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas," said Denise Wardlow, general manager of The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas. "The serene, lush surroundings of the Princeville area complement the luxurious amenities and services of a Westin Resort. The property also provides all the comforts of a home for guests who desire the convenience of a fully-furnished kitchen, washer and dryer and ample space."

The resort's classic Hawaiian plantation style blends with the surrounding Princeville community. The resort's villas are located within seven two-and-three-story buildings. The luxury villas are well-appointed, featuring the signature Westin Heavenly Bed(R), a sofa bed, a Heavenly Bath(R) with a separate whirlpool tub, and plush bathrobes and towels. Guests will also enjoy the LCD flat-screen TV, DVD player, Bose(R) Wave(R) radio, two dual-line phones with voicemail and data ports, and high-speed wired and wireless Internet connectivity. The spacious guest rooms provide all of the comforts of home including a fully-equipped kitchen with microwave/convection oven, full-size refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, blender, cookware and dinnerware, and washer and dryer. Each room will also feature a private lanai with outdoor furniture and blackout-lined drapery.

Nanea (translated from Hawaiian means "tranquility, relaxed, to pass the time in ease and pleasure") Restaurant and Bar will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guests wishing to take advantage of the poolside barbecue grills or in-room kitchen/kitchenette may pick up fresh produce or gourmet deli items from the resort's general store, Princeville Market.

Princeville's world-acclaimed champion golf courses, The Prince and The Makai, border the resort. A world-class WestinWorkout(R) fitness center, steam room and sauna will also be available to guests seeking to maintain their health and exercise routines while on the road. Vacationers can choose to relax at the main swimming pool or seek serenity at one of the two plunge pools. The resort also features three whirlpools, and a keiki (translated from Hawaiian means "child") pool for those traveling with small children.
