Six Senses Hideaway Zighy Bay has been included in the Condé Nast Traveler’s “The Hot List Hotels 2008” as one of the top 65 best new places to stay in the world. It is critiqued in the U.S. edition of the magazine with, comments such as “…the first luxury resort on Oman’s mountainous Musandam Peninsula”, and “The service is exemplary…”.

Introducing a new level of innovative and natural luxury to the Middle East, the recently opened Six Senses Hideaway Zighy Bay is located on Oman’s northern Musandam Peninsula - a 90-minute drive from Dubai. The chic resort hosts 82 pool villas, pool villa suites and deluxe pool villas, including the two-bedroom Retreats and the four-bedroom Reserve – all with butler service. Designed to recreate a traditional Omani desert village, the resort is constructed of rock and natural materials of the region. Sandy pathways meander through the villas, ideally navigated by barefoot or bicycle.

Nestled in secluded Zighy Bay, with its dramatic topography of the rugged Hajar mountains to one side and a 1.6 kilometre pristine white sand beach on the other, Six Senses Hideaway Zighy Bay offers a diverse range of dining experiences:

Dining on the Sands presents a variety of Pan-Asian, Middle Eastern and continental flavours, a private Chef’s Table and event and indulgence culinary evenings. Drinks on the Edge and Dining on the Edge bring guests a stunning dining experience perched high atop the mountains overlooking Zighy Bay. The Chill Bar offers a relaxed summer house experience of ambience and music with just the right amount of vibrancy.

A Six Senses Spa, designed to reflect the aesthetic traditions of the region is an oasis on the bay. Signature treatments focus on the holistic and pampering therapies, using only natural and environmentally friendly products. Guests can partake in traditional Arabian spa treatments that renew and revitalise the senses, such as mineral mud facials, Arabic massage, mineral salts scrub and Arabian body masks. The traditional theme also presents two Hammams, designed for the practice of splashing water for relaxation and includes a head, feet or light body massage following the experience.
