Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI), which serves the North American meetings and incentive industries with its national sales responsibilities for its membership of more than 120 Four- and Five-Diamond/Star quality hotels and resorts worldwide, is promoting a special “Luxury On Sale” at its member hotels in London, England, and Paris, France.

North American meeting professionals and incentive specialists booking a program at ALHI members InterContinental London Park Lane (in London) or InterContinental Paris Le Grand Hotel (in Paris) will receive bonus InterContinental Priority Club Rewards Point Vouchers. Available to new groups with at least 10 paid guest rooms for at least one night, and catering/banqueting (all billed to one master bill), the “Luxury On Sale” promotion provides to planners: 120,000 points if you spend 100,000 Euros; 240,000 points if you spend between 100,001-200,000 Euros; or 360,000 points if you spend more than 200,000 Euros. The promotion is open to new groups that are booked and contracted before December 31, 2008, for a program consumed by April 2009.

InterContinental Priority Club Rewards Points can be redeemed for resort and hotel stays, future meeting expenses (rooms, food & beverage and/or travel), brand merchandise, CDs, DVDs, airline mileage, car rentals, golf equipment, and adventure travel experiences.

“It is a great incentive for any planner considering a program in London or Paris,” said David Gabri, president and CEO of ALHI. “This will help planners stretch their dollars, because the Rewards Points can help minimize future program expenditures, or can be used as wonderful incentives or prizes for the group.”

Located in the heart of London, overlooking two royal parks and Buckingham Palace, InterContinental London Park Lane recently completed a dramatic property-wide renovation. Offering 447 guest rooms and 23,266 square feet of meeting space in 12 contemporary meeting rooms, the hotel features two outstanding destination restaurants, and a chic urban spa.

Situated adjacent to the magnificent Garnier Opera House, InterContinental Paris Le Grand is just steps from Paris’ most well-known tourist attractions. The 470 guest rooms are decorated in an elegant and rich style inspired by Napoleon III, and the hotel features 23,000 square feet of event space. The hotel’s restaurant, Café de la Paix, is the most famous restaurant in Paris, and the hotels’ I-Spa offers a range of spa treatments.

With a diverse luxury portfolio of more than 85,000 rooms and suites and 9 million square feet of meeting space, ALHI enables planners to gain professional one-call access to its outstanding member hotels and resorts which specialize in meetings and incentive programs requiring from 10 to more than 5,000 rooms. There is no cost to planners to utilize the services of ALHI, as its members’ dues fund the organization.

Member properties include extraordinary meeting resorts, exceptional incentive resorts, city hotels, exclusive smaller hotels, golf and destination resorts, historic and landmark properties, island destinations, resorts with spas, and spectacular hotels with world-class gaming and entertainment.
